Celebrating the people who make us great

Nissan Americas certified as a Great Place to Work in the U.S. and across the region

Voice. Purpose. Thrill. Employees at Nissan share their voice to shape our culture; their purpose to strengthen our communities; and their thrill to transform our business. And it's because of them that Nissan is certified as a Great Place to Work – in the U.S. and across all markets in the Americas.

More than 21,000 U.S. employees represent our operations – from design and engineering, to manufacturing and distribution, to financing, sales and marketing. This recognition validates our work to empower employees, by supporting their personal and professional well-being, providing thrilling career opportunities and welcoming all with a focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

We're on a mission to empower mobility and beyond through Ambition 2030, and we can only achieve these goals by ensuring our employees feel valued, heard and empowered.

Voice shapes our culture
Not losing sight of the human aspect is important, and Nissan encourages employees to integrate their personal and workplace successes. As just one example, Nissan introduced a new parental leave policy – one that applies to all employees – providing up to 16 weeks of leave. Additionally, initiatives like 'Dress for Your Day' dress guidelines and 'Be Where You Need to Be' hybrid work policy give employees a voice in choosing how to make work, work best for them.

"Nissan's parental leave policy allowed me to spend invaluable moments with my baby girl. I'm thankful to work for a company that encourages its employee to put family first."

- Francisco Negron, Product Planning Manager

Thrill transforms our business
Along with recruiting top talent, Nissan Americas invests in opportunities for growth and learning. By encouraging employees to develop their skills, we make our business better and more innovative – in turn providing meaningful careers. As a hub of innovation and EV transformation, it's a core element of making Nissan a great place to work.

"Nissan's collaborative culture enables me to contribute to some of the newest projects, and be at the forefront of Nissan's technical advancements."
- Felix Madrid, Nissan Technical Center Technician

Purpose strengthens our communities

Giving back to communities where we live and work gives us purpose. This takes many forms, from directly improving and empowering the communities around our facilities, to supporting volunteer efforts and providing philanthropic support across the country. For example, the Nissan Foundation has supported over 150 nonprofit organizations and donated more than $16 million since its inception in 1992.

"Nissan is truly committed to investing in communities where it operates. Recently, I participated in a Nissan-sponsored food drive with my colleagues, and was humbled by the gratefulness of the families we served."

- Petra Tester, Nissan Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant Supervisor

Proud to be a Great Place to Work

Nissan Americas is proud and grateful for the voice, purpose and thrill our employees bring to work each and every day. We know that it's our people who make us great, and we'll keep working to provide them with thrilling careers, a voice for change and a sense of purpose as we innovate and empower mobility for all.
